Oversized cargo could be fragile. It’s important to consider many factors if it is so. The location of such a cargo as well as location of the surrounding cargo is very important too. If the item is fragile, you need to think about the features of the package to avoid possible damage.
The order, received from one of the largest suppliers of window systems, included the delivery of an oversized plastic profile with a weight of 1000 kg and a length of 6 meters. Such a cargo is inconvenient for transportation within the consolidated goods because of its size and parameters, which are narrow and heavy. The profile has to be delivered was planned from Balashikha (Moscow region) to Chelyabinsk. We made an additional crate for the cargo to avoid possible damage. The truck from Balashikha went to the assembly warehouse. The cargo was packed and put into a curtain-sided truck with the help of mechanical loaders.
After loading, the truck with cargo proceeded to the warehouse in Chelyabinsk. There, the cargo was loaded into a small truck and sent to the customer’s door.
